Great pictures! That was one of those days where you had to be careful not to get in a bad situation. I had a few moments that got the heart pounding. In stead of waiting for a wave that was big enough to air it out on, You had to wait for one that was small enough not to launch you in to space.
Here are some shots my wife took from the same day. Third pic I am inside that wave getting pounded!
wow! those are some impressive waves. that close out section the guy is riding straight towards looks like it could maybe separate you from your ski no matter how strong your grip.
i absolutely hate that with a fiery passion. Sucks when your doing underwater barrel roles with your arms straight above your head and barely holding onto the handle bars. :skull2::skull2::skull2:
At which point you let go?
Would holding your ski with waves that big be hazardous?
Perhaps I can answer my own question.
Based on my experience the ski has more buoyancy than you.
That means if you are getting worked on, your ski will remain in front of you as it's being pushed by the whitewash.....right?
So it is safe to assume you would be safe.....right?
