Have you changed to new plugs since break-in? Or tuned/leaned carbs at all yet?

Plugs look good, didn't see the need to change. I can if you think it'll help. I'll post pics tonight.

I didn't mess with the carbs because I wanted see the results of the new tank before trouble shooting other issues.

What size. I have one I may sell. It was my competition wetsuit. Slippery Matrix. XL

Nah I got my silly Honda Slippery john and jacket, I was just referring to the fact that I had to actually put it on for the first time this year the other weekend.

Should have written 'still riding, just need to wear my wetsuit now!'

Used wetsuits? ehhhhhh not for me hahaha

back to the build! Those plugs look like the desirable coffee color to me!

^^^ that's just one X too big for this little fella.....

Ok, so I just pulled my plugs... They were more wetter than last time.

Good? Bad?
They run small. Back around 95 they changed their sizing. If you wore a Large, you had to get an XL. If you wore and XL, you got an XXL.

I have two suites.

Matrix for competition This is an XL that is way to tight now. It was small when I got it 6 years ago. But that was the largest Size they offered.
Freeride for just regular riding. I had to send back the XL for and XXL because it was sized so small.

oh, the plugs look pretty good. But with the gas quality now, harder to get good reading like you use to could 10 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!! I go more by how the ski runs (As long as it is not white!)

Yes, The RRP models are a little cost prohibitive.... Also I sent them a e-mail over a month ago asking some questions and did not recieve a response. I then contacted Fast Elements (because they offer RRP products) asking the same info, and still no response.

No customer service = No Swapmeet monies.

Thats good info about the TOM21 holds... I would MUCH rather support that guy than RRP, and kinda more than the other folks. Only because Tom is on here, answering questions, giving advice, and pretty much setting sucka's straight. I only see DK etc come in to defend themselves (which is fine). And it would seem that he develops products specificly for X-er's. Small one off parts, like the SN nose piece.

TOM! Get in my thread!!!

lol sorry boys, I have posted up stuff before it was ready and it bit me in the arse Hard! I just couldnt keep it bottled up any longer and had to let at least a little word loose. aaaaaannnnndddd now its a daily pm from several peeps. not complaining but I know its killing a few of you, its def killin me not to have these done. but you know how it goes, money, kids, life, thinking about it, change it, more life, worry a ton, change design again, worry a lot more, life, money etc.

I am mere weeks away from an unveil. I am trying not to build it up, its just 3way adjustable footholds for 250 shipped. Thats all I can say. I promise I am not trying to tease, I just dont want to let it loose until I have a completely ready to ship part in my hand and that pic will be here and then the part will be on its way.

This is the craziest build thread. As others have mentioned above, it is harder to get good plug readings with the 'new' gas, it depends if you idled in for a while or chopped the throttle, but they look a little rich to me. Are those the same plugs you broke motor in with or fresh set?

Same set as break in I think. Mr Miyagi said it was cool to keep running them, and didn't think ^^^ those looked to bad.

I'll change them for the next ride just to be sure.

just lean up your high speed a tad and do a speed run, chop your motor, leave throttle pulled Wide open, pull plugs. But honestly,, seat of the pants feel is the best.
