I gotta go to bed earlier.... I'm delirious. I was about to start retyping all the crap I typed at 1:30.
I don't think I've mentioned this, but I moved the Flow Control south of the bypass as ya'll suggested.
Making sure the engine is cooling is more important than worrying about how much water is in the waterbox.
I picked up some rivets for my battery box hooks this morning. I'm gonna use a rubber bungee to hold my battery until I get a shorty strap from Jet Maniac.
So here's the tank.....

Yea I was a little ( a LOT!) worried about that. The other way cuts the entire circuit off below 3500R's which is BAD!

Yeah, I put two tanks through (break in) like that. The FC was opened way up for 75% of the two tanks.
Ya'll help me out here. Will a compression test tell me if I hurt anything running it that way?
I didn't work on it today. Worked on my little truck (in the background of most of my ski pics). The cold front moved through tonight and I think I'm getting sick. I still have to attach my battery box hooks and it should be RTR. Being sick sucks. Ill get a box of tampons tomorrow so I can ride Sunday.
Off topic, but Daniel Martin is the man ya'll. I've had the privilege of watching him progress at our local spot, and I couldn't be more proud of him for winning the amateur world championship spot today.

The Tygon seems to get a liitle hard after a couple seasons, but I like it because its designed for fuel/ i.e. won't leave residue like some of the 'clearfuelines.org' lines are rumored to.

Didn't ride yesterday. I don't think it made it to 60*. It was cloudy and windy... no fun, no thanks.
Waiting for JM to get back from WF unless I can find a 8" (hook to hook) strap for my battery locally.
I might try to get in the water during the week, but thats super tough to do. The coming weekend is out, i'll be out of town.
I'm getting the feeling I should just cut the tray out now, do my defoam/ refoam/ shorten/ BOB holds/ reinforce/ etc...

A bunch of guys that ride lake Grapevine (I call them the Clone Army) are getting Bob holds. I almost want to get something different for fear of being assimilated.

Why not hold off for a month or so on the footholds? I talked to Tom21 and he is making adjustables that will be high quality like BOB ones but most likely cheaper.

Yes, The RRP models are a little cost prohibitive.... Also I sent them a e-mail over a month ago asking some questions and did not recieve a response. I then contacted Fast Elements (because they offer RRP products) asking the same info, and still no response.
No customer service = No Swapmeet monies.
Thats good info about the TOM21 holds... I would MUCH rather support that guy than RRP, and kinda more than the other folks. Only because Tom is on here, answering questions, giving advice, and pretty much setting sucka's straight. I only see DK etc come in to defend themselves (which is fine). And it would seem that he develops products specificly for X-er's. Small one off parts, like the SN nose piece.
