Thanks! I was joking with my wife yesterday that whenever she starts doing barrel rolls... (We both start snickering) that she won't have to worry about it coming apart.
I can't believe how thick this carbon is. Its a little heavy, but I know its way better than using glass of a similar thickness. I checked some of it out this morning, it seems like its cured nicely.
Let me ask ya'll a question.
I have these sexy carbon sides in my bilge, yet the bottom of the bilge looks like dirty goat semen. I've seen the resin dye in other threads... do you think I could/ should put down a think layer of dyed resin, just for appearance?
Does anyone have any suggestions for the bottom of the hull? This poor thing has been beaten so badly, most of the gel coat is gone.
I'm thinking about vacuum bagging a layer of carbon or something (vs glass) to build it back up. Not the thick carbon I have, something lighter. But I don't know how well it would hold up.
I don't beach my ski ever. Just normal beach cart/ stand/ trailer bunk abuse.
BTW...........................
I have decided...............
That i'm going to...
Out Mr Brah.....
But not today.
