Interesting statistic, This thread is now 59 pages, and has just a touch over 58,000 views (as of this morning.)

Yes!

Rode it Sunday.
So it has a 701 single carb motor ported by GroupK. It hasn't been fired in about 18 months, and I basically threw it in the hull, fired it up to ensure operation and went to the lake.
The point is that it hasn't been tuned for the new boat. Running a little chunky at low RPM, but I think I can tune that out.

Stock pump with a Hooker 9/15, ghetto quick steer etc.

Anyhow, I didn't get to install the holds, but I did ride it.... and OMFG the lowered tray was kickass! I've never comfortably ridden a hull with both feet back and with the lowered tray it felt very natural. I put my left foot in the FFH just because, but never really 'used it'.
Really stoked about how much difference it made.

The bad part.... it takes on water bad under the tray LOL!!!!!

Got it home and popped the blaster drains and I was blown away with how much water came out... shotty workmanship!!!! Hahaha...
I have a few places that I can touch up to try and limit the intrusion, but I have a feeling its gonna always be a problem. Which is why I have the house foam and the hull drains....

Anyhow. Rode it. Its good.

The only thing I left unfinished on this project was the "Ricky Bobby" footholds.

To refresh everyone, Skinnyman sold me the actual "hold" part for a set of RRP holds. I modified them so that they didn't eat up so much tray space in the RN.
When I laid up the gunwales, I bonded a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum plate to serve as the structure for the holds. Instead of slotting a bunch of holes in the plate, i'm drilling holes and padding to take up the difference.

This achieves two things.
1. Its 10x easier to pad and turf the holds when I can take them out and manipulate them.
2. I can make adjustments by pivoting and drilling a new hole.

I'm not yet finished, so these are some 'in process' photos. I'll post the finished product soon, as well as a ride report. I'm hoping to ride sometime this week.

This is how the tray was left all season.

Here you can see how I modified the holds to increase the tray space.

Here is the hold bolted in, I found out this position is way too high, but thats the beauty of the design.

This is where I drilled the first two holes, found out they were too high, and drilled the next set lower.

This is all I have so far, but in general...
