Little update:

installed the Thrust EZ flow trim this week and tried it out today.
Actually made some attempts at a 180 to back flip. Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be having the ski fall on me.
Didnt get anywhere near all the way around but that wasn't the point. Really just trying to get a feel for the motions etc. I think I had one that the nose hit the water before my head did.

What I learned: There is a lot of stuff you have to do in a short period of time. Grab trim, grab throttle, arch back, pull on pole, extend legs, throw head back. Oy Vey!!!
Doing the 180/ backflop was really helpful to me as a first timer. Helps me practice all ^^^ that stuff.

I worked on my setup wakes with trim. I really really suck at setup wakes.

Will (ADDict) came out today, let me ride his Chan, that 900 makes a huge difference. He gave me a few pointers and it was cool to watch him rip it up on a BC.

Oh, and right as I was about to call it a day after 'just one more' flip attempt, my Antigravity battery poops the bed.

So, I get to deal with that this week. But considering the amount of upside down landings I had today, that's not too bad of a damage report.

One thing I forgot to mention, ADDicts hull had the foot holds moved forward an inch or two compared to mine which made a big difference. When Steve builds my hull this winter, I'm going to have mine put in the same place. It helped a lot with weight distribution. Also his Xmetal pole was adjusted all the way forward, with the holds moved forward I didn't mind at all.

I didn't take any pics of my trim... but here are a few shots from yesterday.

I'm shorter than Will, (aren't we all?) but at 5'11 I can make it work. Looking to switch to the ATP micro or the Titan Micro steering. If anyone has any feedback on those, or another option lmk.

here is some feedback for you....i ran the blowsion system( only ride fresh water) and the bearing froze after about a month and a half......switched over to the atp system....no problems since.....the steering feels a little tighter....no play...i love it so far

Mcdog has the wdk setup for fat bars, and I have the rrp. I enjoy them both, but the wdk turns like F'n butter. Gets me all hot n sweaty thinking about how I can just turn those bars effortlessly. Mmmmnm

I'm kinda surprised this thread hasn't been locked....

So I took a family vacation to the gulf mid Oct of 2014. Had a blast. We stayed in the house in the back ground. It was choice!

When I got home, I flushed my engine and washed the bilge/ engine bay area with some anti salt soap stuff.
So mark the calendars, Mid Oct... Engine runs.

Come mid December I decide I should probably run some Stabil through my fuel system since I wouldn't be riding for a couple months.

Ski won't start. I diagnose it (incorrectly) to the Starter Solenoid. Get a new one from JM.
Fast forward to early Feb, I start messing with it again, decide after a lot of testing, it has to be my cables. My Postive cables are all JSS, or at least they're supposed to be. Thats what Fiore told me... but you never know with that guy. My ground was just a plain ole OEM ground.

I pull the ground out, It looks a little sketchy. Start stripping it back and find this near the battery side.

So I order all new OCD cables from JM. Throw them in, reinstall everything... Yahtzee! Mofugka runs like a CHAMP!

Need a new bilge switch... reaching out to Mr OCD for that as well.

Ready for the lake!
