SX-R 800 Bilge Pump Help

Sweet!!! I got a Rule Mate 750 hittin the doorstep anyday, I'll bungie it down where the tool kit was and I'll hook it to the existing bildge system outlet hose and discharge it thru the jet like mentioned above. Simple, cheap, functional fix for a serious problem. I got some of them new hood hooks and straps and the Blowsion front blockoff plate coming also, It's gonna be nice to really RIP IT and not have to worry about filling it up with water. Thanks for the advice !!! :notworthy:

No, it I tore those out years ago on my 750 and on my SXR. My new hull doesn't have one. The 750 pumps out about 10 times the water as the siphon.

I would think that the stock siphon bilge outlet in the pump would restrict the flow of the 750 rule. If it were me, leave the stock in place and put a bilge fitting in the side of your hull and run the rule to that. You will pump more water much quicker

Well, if you are getting enough water in your ski to need to pump out 750 GPH you may have other problems haha, so the restriction is not much of an issue.

While the stock siphon is not ideal, it's not necessarily worthless.

A bilge pump with a float switch is always a good idea!

Agree 100% with rollin, slap a blinging outlet on the side of the boat and throw the bilge water overboard. You may not know this but the stock siphon bilge works really well as does the stock scupper (used with a Versiplug).

Yea I think that is what I will do. I have the versiplug-r and I figure with the 750 and the siphon.......I will damn near be able to sink the thing as she will not go down without a fight.

I put in a wamiltons scupper and have a single 500gph rule with the blowsion bracket. most of the time the rule is useless as the scupper takes care of everything

Good call on the bracket - I've not had the best success on gluing bilge pumps down to the bilge floor.

In my experience, a rule 360 don't have the air locking issues that a 500 does. It does require a switch , however
