What's the size of the hole in the tank, outside to outside on opposing bolts and maybe add a little wiggle room at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch. There are a bunch of Aluminum disc on Ebay fairly cheap, 1/8 " thickness should do nicely.
You sir are the man! its 4.25" and I am going to happily pay the 8$ for this vs grinding my own out of an old road sign.

Yep I am about to order a 6" one for my 3D, the way things have been going lately I am going to need that ski running sooner than later.

Playing with the engine mounting some more what do you guys think about drilling and bolting through the white dot here? Is that enough contact between bedplate and mount? Put another washer behind the coupler to buy me another mm?

Or should i suck it up and drill new holes.

And any suggestions on where/how to mount the ebox? Thing weighs a ton too. need to do some searching and see if its possible to shove it all into something smaller.

They got it to fit. But ran all those hoses and lines like a crackhead? Maybe I'm ocd or something but that screams backyard built to me.

Can you mount the ebox to the engine? Looks like a bit of room.

Can rhass make you custom motor mounts? Can you source a different style mount and drill new holes to match the sxr pattern? Can you tig weld good enough to add a piece to the bed plate?

First major issue is I cant make this bend without kinking the hose (used a hose that had a bend in it as well. Anyone know if they make a 90 degree press in fitting or hopefully I can remove it and tap it for 1/4" npt fitting.

Anyone have a pole bolt for sale? I think a sxr 800 bolt will also fit. And also need a hood latch and to figure out a throttle cable.
I think on my SXR I use to have the hoses criss crossed to the bulkhead to keep from having that kink, I liked that U Joint that was posted!

Why are you not using the conversion kit made by ultimate watercraft ? Includes mounts , tank pickups and Ebox mount .
Because its 700$. Not saying it's not worth every penny of it. But I can drill some extra holes for free first and if it doesn't work I always pay the 700$ later. =)

Personally I wouldn't drill holes unless you plan on welding the bedplate holes up and then redilling the holes, I would find a thicker washer to put on the crankshaft and one on the driveshaft and think about putting a seadoo driveshaft snubber inside the impeller, that might give you just enough extra to line up correctly.

You and the buzzard need to write a book. Amazing all the knowledge about every ski and the random parts available for each. Also thank you!

Write a book no way I will just wait till the movie comes out.

I do have a question though , can you redrill the holes where the bedplate mounts to the bottom of the engine or is there room to do that , When I put that 720 Seadoo engine in my X2 I welded the engine mounting holes up on the 650 bedplate and redrilled them to match the 720 pattern plus I had to heat the bedplate and bend it to clear the starter motor.

It looks like the oem mount area metal strip goes the full length of where the motor mounts are. So going to drill and tap new holes so everything lines up. *fingers crossed* If not I have plus nuts to stick in there.

I do know the plates extend farther out than the mounts, not sure about full length, I remember a thread where a guy robbed a ZXI 1100 of it's engine and installed a 750 in it's place, he had to move the plates on that one , but no farther than you are off there should be aluminum there.

I got my two discs in today and am starting a couple of DI to carb conversion plates on a couple of Seadoos, I cut and ground off anything that was sticking up on a stock fuel pump module till it would sit flat on the disc and I will use that as my drilling guide. I think I am going to use stock 750 Kawi pickups on mine so all I have to do is drill a hole with a hole saw and drill and drill and tap the mounting holes. But I may use a ZXI pickup so I won't have to have a separate petcock.

I wish I would have ordered a disc for my sxr 260 project . I plasma cut this one .

Yeah the 6" disc was almost the perfect size for this one, plus I suck at cutting circles that remain circular.

Thinking about this some more and remembered that my limitedslip tank had these:
Fuel%20sender%20MD-6.jpg
If you are going to do that maybe just use 90 degree hose barbs and these on the bottom with in-tank drop tubes and clunk pickups, sandwiching the 1/8 "plate between the two if you get what I am saying, tap the plate install the straight fitting onto the 90 degree fitting and attach hose and clunks .
