The seats on Kehins are not supposedly not replaceable but I ran across this : https://polariscarburetor.com/keihin-needle-seat-replacement-kawasaki-polaris/

Iam not sure on the replacement procedure but apparently it presses out of the housing.

You used to be able to buy the piece with the seat in it as a performance part with a bigger needle and seat separately but they are no longer made .

Also found this so apparently on a Polaris you can but just the metering block with the seat in it.. I would look really closely to make sure they are the same part.

Found an oem needle on ebay for 19.99. If that doesn't work I will give that SBT one a shot! And if that one doesn't work then might have to switch over to mikunis. =)

Thank you!

Anyone else have that issue where you install a bunch of stuff only to realize you missed something and have to pull it all back out.. I forgot the top nose foam...

Yamaha superjet gas tank strap fit perfectly. So no longer waiting on partzilla. Of course my sparkplug wires are about 4" too short.
JSS is a huge pain to work with so ordered the wires etc to do my own. Once I have new plug wires installed I'll be able to fire her up!

well yes but still ....just so much room in there
The flame arrestors and exhaust on 1100's are not like flame arrestors and exhaust on a Superjet, they defiantly take up a lot of room.

In general the bolt on stuff for four stroke engines is way more compact than the two stroke stuff.

Figured out the stop wires and got her out for the first ride!

A little rich on the bottom end but after about 6-7mph she was a rocket. Went back to shore engine was warm, pipe was hot but not sizzling. Got out the gps for a speed run and at 54mph she lost fuel. At 20-30mph she has plenty of fuel and runs great, then she wouldn't go above 20mph without running out of fuel and finally she wasn't getting any fuel to the fuel filter unless I used the choke and then it was only enough to idle. So need to pull her apart again and see if something happened to my fuel pickup in the tank or maybe a pulse line is cracked or something.

*First upgrades on the list are some 0 or 4 degree bars and soon as someone figures out the Zeel for the 1100.

Pulled out the pickup and the screen was broken and hard plastic part was folded over the end of the tube. Checked pulse lines etc and they are good.

Top speed of.... 55.9mph! My dads zxi1100 with same mods and sbn44's was very slowly pulling away from me at top speed. I can feel her running too rich so checked the carbs and that front carb is leaking a small amount of fuel again. Going to take them apart and see what I can do. As for freestyle after a ton of tries I was finally able to do a pretty good ballerina.

Took the carbs off again and tested pop off. all the carbs are popping around 28psi. Checking the carbs together the first two carbs pop first and the carb with the fuel leak issue pops last.. while I had all the carbs apart I noticed the Arm on the carb with the issue was sticking up a hair higher compared to the others so I bent it down to match. Fingers crossed that fixes it.

Put on 0 degree bars and the r&d power plenum air box. Next thing is to hook up the tach where I can see it. Hoping to get this whale to 60mph. Anyone know around what RMP's a dry pipe modded 1100 spins?
