synchronizing carbs

Funny, someone comes in posting stuff that others do not believe, does not matter if it is far fetched or not. This guy may or may not know what he is doing. But nice job making him feel all welcome and all. Guilty until proven innocent. Just like the guy with the Superjet with NOS. This place makes me sick.

I think the issue is/was the way it was presented, and some of the comments made about how much better his stuff was. We all work hard to make our skis perform at their best, and may at times find it hard to believe some of these "newer" ideas. The dialog and method of delivery goes a long way towards the impression someone leaves. I know I am always open to something that will help the performance of my equipment, but, like some others, if it is presented in the wrong way, it can make me less inclined to take that information as "true".

In one post is says you need a drill, then in another it says you can do it with the boat running.

synchronizing carbs is NOT a new concept. it's been done almost as long as engines have had multiple carbs, there are even tools that are esy to come by, easy to use, and affordable for doing it.

I think what has got people giving big dog a hard time is the outragous claims he's making in reguards to what Syncing carbs will do. I've been working with muti carbed engines since my teens and I know for a fact what he's claming is complete BULL unless both his carbs were set to completely opposite settings.

Well statistics can be very deceiving. It all depends on what your taking your info from. In this case it could be that the two carbs were off horribly from each other to start with, then using this system it fixed the problem. and to increase by 20% could be not much at all or it could be very drastic, it all depends on what type of math you do to get these numbers. At my job I play with stats to get the best looking numbers I can, the numbers are true but can give different impressions.
I say lets see what he's got first, then judge once we have more info

I just find it funny that you can design exhaust pipes, power-valve kawi jugs, and carb syncro's; but you can't figure out how to post pictures?

Yeah i used to tune alfas with twin delortos
We used a tube with water in it and had it pull certain inches of water
You would compare all until you got it right
It would make them idle better if you got a real bad one
And i mean real bad
But it certainly didnt make any more hp in a car
And in a jetski you slam the throotle wide open most of the time so it would be even less of a gain

doesn't this usually happen when someone shows up boasting and doesn't have pics to prove it? if you can't post a pic and are applying for a patent then it shouldn't be that hard to copy and as long as I am not selling them I can do it too.

spelling and better sentence construction would be nice as well. I am a genius, but lack spelling skills. again seems most wackos fit this profile. not to stereotype but if the shoe fits...

It could still be real, just not easy to stretch the imagination under these conditions. synching carbs is not all that difficult.

also guys he didn't drill anything he just used a small drill bit as a gauge to set the plate with. feeler gauge works too.:reporter:

oh and welcome to the X!!!!!!!!

BK we only bicker and poke fun because we are a family. just means we care, we are looking out for the newbs who may be easily fooled into rerouting the exhaust back into the carb for unlimited RPMs!
