So l have put about 4 hours on the freak so far.Seemed like about it took a whole 15 min to feel comfortable on her.The ski performs quite well even being a -2 hull.Slides, jumps, carves, surfs really awesome. And no we don't have surf here (wait for it),but we do have the wake about 5 foot off the transom of a ski boat. The ride on the freak is exactly what l was looking for when l was thinking about another ski.l'm sticking with my opinion that the hull length is right for my riding. So when you are thinking about buying one,let Tem help you to make your decision. He is great at what he does...

We could have rode longer but l got a small piece of wood in my pump and ended up having to take the pump out to remove it.

Update: Just got my Solas pump back from the maniac today from switching out the drive shaft. And of course l had to test it!

Feels strong and pulls nicely.Nothing crazy but l am impressed.Well worth the money and time spent.

Yea several have given their opinions on the single Blake.Maybe Idok will give his .02 cents worth on running a single carb.l'm gonna run this set up for a while till l can make a decision.l want to get the solas pump back in it and then see what l have power wise before l do anything else.

There is a guy in Florida named Todd that use to do some engine building, he mainly works on 4Smoke Race bikes now that when ever he did a motor setup he always set them up with Single Carbs. And they worked really well. So well that he started modifiying the 44 by boring them out to 48. But not from the top. He bored the bottoms. He rarely set one up with duals unless you were racing.... He did alot of motors, use to you could come across some of his motor setups. He had a little company he called TLR (Todd LeChance Racing) - He built motors for Stoyer, Steve Shoettle, David Cabrarra and some guy named Rick Roy. I ran his setup for a while, Still run his cylinders minus the single. I could run it again with no hesitation.

Not yet. Finished build to hit start button with nothing but a click in response. Just replaced the solenoid and. It is finally ready. I'm going for the longest build award......no wait.....I'm not even in Kevin's league.

Does a build start when you take delivery or when you actually start working on it? If it starts when you start working on it, then I don't think time has even started counting on Kevin yet... Most neglected superfreak in the world.
