Beltway 8 ($1.25 toll / booth) may be faster, but there are lights on the north to east portion. They have been working on that area, but I do not know how much.

Depending on the time of day, 610 is usually traffic. Between 1 and 3 PM you can steady speed at 55. After 3 you are looking at 30mph.

I will be taking 290 to BW-8 to I-10.

If you being a wi-fi notebook, you can find a hotspot and check the traffic and any construction info. Or do it the night before if/when you have a better idea of when you will be passing through. Also, when you get to Dallas might do it there too.

Avg speeds to not reflect time of day, so rush hours (6-8am and 11-2 pm and 3-8pm) will be much slower than average speeds.

Glad you and Skywalker will be there. Bummer about everyone else though. Does that include Stylin' Steve as well??? Haven't seen him on the board forever, but I was hoping he'd be going.

Screw the minivan trip. :saevilw: I'll pick you up Thursday about 1:30, on my way to pick up Neil and Rita. We'll just strap that Kawi to the roof of my trailer.:headbang:

Hell no I am not ready for Pueblo yet. Water's probably still in the upper 30's. I'm too old to ride in that crap. Temp has to get to at least 45.

I can't speak on Steve's behalf, but I can say that in all the years that I've been going to Galviston to ride, Steve has never made the trip . . . and he's swore he was going EVERY time. Callin you out here Steve - hope you make it.
