oh, and the cable adjuster on the trim lever vanished...........
[/QUOTE]

My cable adjuster vanished to one ride. Does anybody sell replacements or do I have to check out the bike shops?

Hah . thats a 900 cc cylinder ..minus the head that says 900 (wasnt worth the coin to change the # )oh yea , still got hp.tricks up my sleeve for this summer if i choose & money allows ,but the 900 only has 20 hrs on her as of now .after all its taken me three months to change out a stuck bendix and do some jetting changes .Am radio says economy is getting better which would loosen up some $$ ,but it is yet to be seen( there full of sh#$% )? still with this hull there is plenty fun to be had with this set up .
yea, 865 can even be big power. lil D's xs865 a few years ago was a beast and got passed to eli before his 900, but that 865 was special.
not all levers use the same threads on the adjuster. i think the lever that comes with the xs trim is the cheapest POS but it does work if you dont need a lot of throw on your trim. when i build trims, i buy levers on ebay for cheap and get the ones that are designed for long pull.

it doesnt look like you got your small issues fixed to me, i still see an puny 865 under the hood. yea, i love that hull and wish i would have bypassed the ladder rungs that were the freaks, waste of time and money. i had some issues today with my PFP coupler blowing off and the straps coming unhooked. that big underflip caused it. oh, and the cable adjuster on the trim lever vanished...........

You're the only one I have heard say that about freaks, what about them don't you care for?

for starters, they are not a flatwater hull unless its the circus cause they are too long and ride too flat. great rec hull. my yellow -5 800cc was a great boat chaser, but thats all. red -4.3 1000 is overkill for boat chaser, but not enough power for anything but single tricks, too long. and then there is the quality of construction on that hull. hood is garbage. bondo was used where the hood side hooks bolt on, to make it look good, and next to no carbon used for strength. maybe it was whoever thrust had paint it but that just covered up the lack of strength in that area and then there is the hood liner............ also lack of strength on the sides of the hull opposite the footholds. carbon ride plate bolt holes hogged/hacked the F out to line up. i bought that boat with maybe one season on it , for 10k less than it was sold for new and if i knew then, what i know now, i would have spent the money elsewhere. i had no issues with the yellow one except the carbon exhaust tube in the bulkhead crushed and i had to swedge up an aluminum pipe and reinforce it from the inside. the yellow one was one of the first ones and maybe a heavier layup, i dont know. waste of time because they only made me figure out they werent what i needed and waste of money since they are high priced with multiple construction flaws. then again, i'm yet to find anything that doesnt have issues of some kind.
