Well my lazy ass didn't get done with the turf..
I did get the rails and part of the sides close.Dash padded and ready for turf.

This is the second time l have worked with smooth turf.l definitely understand why no one really wants to work with it.Pain in the butt.I'm getting better with it.You cannot heat the exposed side too much with a heat gun.Seems like it makes a discoloration or slicker if you go past a certain heat range. The thread l started about sanding the smooth turf has really helped and the advise given seems to take care of the issues from heat and any other imperfections.
Spent all day in my garage with the heat blasting, garage door halfway open, and a big fan blowing.Still stunk. Kept a vapor mask on,so l didn't smell the fumes.

Turfing is for warmer weather!

See y'all in Daytona!

Finished the back end today and ground the edges down where l wrapped the diamond meets the top of the holds.
What's funny was my wife's insistence for me to grind the edges down on the holds. She has been around skis to long!
Started the engine up after a year long hibernation.Smooth and running.I remember about 3 years ago l started this engine and it backfired loud.My dumbass loaded to much fuel in the carbs...So today it went well.Couple small things to do and then water test. I'll have some engine pics as soon as l get that area tidy up
