Finally have some time to get some work done. Just laid first side of glass and I'm waiting for it to dry enough for me to flip the hull.

Curious why you are just reenforcing the bottom deck? Why not fill in the bond line and do the whole thing?

Just one layer of glass? What weight?

There were cracks in the bottom deck so I just wanted to fix the cracks. If I still have to hull this winter I'll reinforce the bond line. I didn't have enough glass to reinforce the bond lines and was just trying to use what I had. The glass is 17oz biax

I'm bringing this back to life! The motor is in and the electrical is hooked up. I also made mounts for the wr3 ebox. I cleaned the motor before dropping it in and it looks way better now. I also took off the oil pump and put a block off plate on. I put on hood straps and mounted the new pole bracket. I'm going to get some more knocked out tomorrow

I just fired it. Thankfully it fired right up and all the electrical is good. Now time to rebuild the carb

You probably don't care, but I used some cleaner that has a little bleach in it to clean all that gunk out of the bilge on my SN. Worked like a champ.

I've cleaned it out once. That discoloration didn't come out with Clorox with bleach in it or anything else I tried. I'm not that worried about it for now. Maybe I'll work on it more this winter when I get some other bling under the hood

New pole bracket mounted with the holes drilled for the tubes. I'm going to be on hold for a while waiting to get some parts. I'll probably start working on the pump tomorrow

Bro are you riding surf? If yes really may want to consider reinforcing the bond line to top deck both sides. A few barrel roll attempts / stabs gone bad / flops and she could start to crack again.

I'm probably not going to take this one in surf. Just flat water. I'm hoping to pick up a rn hull this fall and don't want to put a ton of work into this one

So it's been forever since I've been on here. But I got a bug in the last month to finally complete this and get it on the water. I ordered the last few parts I needed and have spent a lot of late nights working on it. It's almost done. I just need a finger throttle and to get help from a friend with the sj impeller tools to torque down the impeller so I can install the pump. I ended up getting a 9/15 hooker so that should be nice
