Nice build.
Just curious , why did you reenforce hull below motor area ?

OEM mounts flex, my bedplates bolts have rubbed the bottom of my ski on my surf hull. If you think about OEM mounting was designed to be used in a sit-down watercraft with no heavier than a 760 motor. Now we use it in hulls with heavy ass motors that are 20' in the air!!
To remedy this we reinforced the Gut and will be running padding under the motor to support the load.
If I would have ordered this hull it would've had been layed up different for my needs!

Thanks I'm actually gonna weld some tabs on the waterbox and bolt it to the plate. The less rubber straps the better. imo

Motor showed up yesterday and i got straight to work!
Bolted on intake and exhaust manifolds and built the ebox!
Got the engine perfectly aligned with NO SHIMS!
Tank is secured just need to finish the exhaust and run the water/fuel lines!
Should be breaking it in this weekend!

Welded some tabs on the WB and finished the exhaust install!

Finished it up the bilge late last night pretty stoked how it came out!


Built a pole pad also, and remembered why I haven't turfed it yet.

Water test/ break-in today went great!
It was so hard not to grab a handfull, kept it 1/4 -1/2 throttle. Motor had a lot of power and I'm running 30-1 mix and screws are rich for break in. Tommorow I'm gonna lean it out and get closer to a dialed setup!

I have one pad under the center of the chamber. I aligned it with out the couplers to get the height right..
