Did you have to cut the corner off the water box to make it fit? I'm doing a similar project and trying to decide on a pfp water box or TNT.

Yes cut the corner off and cut 1" off the bottom. Keep in mind mine is sitting on top of inserts for a stock battery tray. You might not have to take the 1" off the bottom.

I think tnt makes a box with 45° notch in it. You could prob trade Tim if you haven't used yours yet. The pfp box is roughly the same height but they have to fit cause that's all califreestyle uses. You might be able to get away with a stock tnt box. I knotched mine cause it's sitting on top of 2 pieces of turf a 1/4 plate and inserts that stick up an Inch. There's also a 3/4 tube on the inside two inserts to angle the box to meet the stinger correctly. So the inside corner is raised 2" and is angling the box into the side of the hull.

Ski looks sick, i dont see how you could fit that waterbox in their without anything but a cart tank without modification to the box. Wouldn't fit my phantom with the 3g limited slip tank without metal on metal or metal on fiberglass rubbing and no padding. I had to go pfp box. Pic of the 2 side by side. Great job with the ski sorry to slightly derail but hopefully provide some help to guy asking or future builder.
