A roundnose is perfect. everything else is overkill. IMO Nice, and i would buy one if it was in my means, but still overkill. Overkill, meaning taking away the challenges of riding surf.

w/ that mentality pro surfers should ride old wooden boards, so they can show how good they really are... :jester:

Progression is a must in every sport. It's not like there is too much in this sport anyway... We need years and years of progression in this sport to catch up w/ other Extreme sports (if advancing the sport is what you are about)

Dude, get on a 440 in surf like I learned on, that's a challenge, plus they typically don't start until at least 2-3 seconds of cranking, then take another 5-10 to get on plane.

I'll keep my SJ, it's nice and cushy in surf compared to what I used to ride in it.

progression is what its all about at this point, like nick said we are light years behind everyone else, anything that takes us forward is a good thing.
Im also just saying that used after some pro has beat on it,you should be able to find them cheap once the next best thing comes along,at this rate that should be next years WF

if a superjet was perfect, there'd be no aftermarket items made for it

maybe call it.."perfectly modifiable" :)

and dont worry about taking away the challenge of riding surf...the surf will ALWAYS have the advantage!

ain't that the truth! Even on my 409 pound, stable smooth SXR...the surf eventually wins.

I can't wait to drop 110 pounds off of it this winter!
