I ported mine. I was told (by a well know builder) not to do to much. The only place that needs work is where the cages meet the boost port entrances. Doesn't really need more than that.

True, all they need is a little smoothing out on the sharp edges. They are really good as is and I probably should have left them alone

Anyone have any input on using an ada 800 head ?
All I hear is riva.
Are the riva head's girdled ?
I know wdk Are, and that may be my route if 927 is in my future.

I don't think the ada or riva makes domes for a bigbore application. That is why groupK modifies a oem head and gasket for their kits. The WDK head is the way to go IMO

i really like the 66e engine but don't know if i can afford one right now.

If i would be building an engine on a 62t cases what kinda set-up (cylinder size.... ) would yield approximately the same power as the stock 66e? This would be a non-stroker, non-power valve setup.

I have a standard stroke lamey pv cylinder for sale that will give you about 120-130hp. 85.5 mm x standard stroke.

if a adaptor were made to fit the factory dry pipe on it the blue dry pipe how well would that run.i know it will be suggested to use the manifold and make a chamber but will the chamber of the dry pipe be holding the motor back from making good power or no
