Anyone know what one is worth. My buddy says he found one here in Havasu that is brand new still in the crate and they want $500. I told him that he is full of shate. I asked him if the peeps selling this knew what they had, and he said no. So the seller is clueless. Its become a big secret now till he buys it.
More to come...

I see ATS_Aaron on this site had a couple for sale awhile back:

Did you sell them? and what did you get for them?

Wow... I would pay at least $1000 for that. And thats coming from a broke college student who put a 701 and 140mm pump in a 550 because I couldnt afford a fx1....

Well my friend bought it today and I went with him to pick it up. Its perfect, brand new mint. I cant f'n believe it. Even inside the gas tank still smells like new plastic. I dont think its evern been run except for test run at the factory on a external test fuel tank.
He got the guy down to $400! We just cruised off smiling...lol Sucka!
Its the WS-AA hull.
Were gonna take it down to the beach for a photo shoot(on a stand of course)! I've been looking on the Kawasaki museum pages and this one is nicer than the ones they have pics of.
This is thing is a trip. Its all hand laid, even the 3 piece pole.
I'll post pics up.

yeah, I'm quite aware of what they look like. I had one sitting on my dryer for 2 years...lol I have a '74 blue handlaid hull with the updated graphics too. they're light.

you are an ass hole. }=[

well, I guess I'm like opinions then, huh...lol

I was thinkning about using the blue one to do a conversion like you did, but i will only have to drill and tap the firewall instead of attaching another piece. the bearing box plate is 1/4 or 3/8" steel.

I thought that blue one was just a standard flatty hull....

there's three versions of the '73's. the first prototype had a fixed handlepole in the upright position and an extremely short hood, and a "V" shaped hull(WS-AA). the next version which is the one superjett-113's friend just bought is a moveable handlepole and "V" hull. the '73 I have is pretty much the same as the one he bought, except it has the flat bottom hull(WS-AB). the early '74's we're made just like the late '73's but with a blue gelcoat. the late '74's are smc hulls. and they were all smc hulls until kawi handlaid the top decks on the sxi pro's.

also, here's another difference, the '73's the rideplate bolts to the pump, and there are no inserts or areas for inserts in the hull to bolt a rideplate to. the '74's have the 440 pump with the rideplate bolt holes just like the '73's except the '74 hulls have the inserts to bolt the rideplates to the hulls also.
