Reglassin

started fiber glassing on Thursday and finished today. patched all the wholes and fixed all the cracks and rebuilt the ride plate mount. we glassed in a peice of 1/4 inch alu. where the ride plate mounts to drill and tap into. and i fixed my handle pole. (it was flopping in the wind) so now i gotta sand and fill, sand and fill, sand and fill. then gel coat and ill be all done w the fiber glass and then im thinking a paint job. then i can put it all back together. and by then it might be warm enough to ride! :brap:

finished sanding and filling today! and i scored a trailer! FO FREE! it needs some work. but couldn't beat the price.

Heads up, if haven't already drilled/tapped the ride plate bed, you can drill/tap for a SXR/SXI Pro pattern. You'll have more modern rideplate options obviously.

pump rebuild

got my pump rebuilt kit and new used shaft and put my pump all back together. no all i gotta do is paint and put it all back together and im ready to go! :bananapowerslide:

I was able to retap the threads on my stat trak impeller! :arms:

ready to go! but i gotta paint and gel coat first... to cold now

so its coming along nicely! mechanicly everything is fixed. bot its just cosmetic stuff.

got my trailer all set up today. installed new tail lights. flipped the axle, to lower it. and got new wood and bunks for 2 skis. all set and ready to go!

im just gonna keep updating this build!~ even if noone cares anymore! :biggthumpup:

got her completely striped down to a bare hull. bottom all prepped for gel coat and starting sanding/ preping for the top.

Careful with flipping that axle, make sure it isn't one that has a factory bent axle, it should have a negative camber (required for good tracking down the hwy). Otherwise looks great! I'm ashamed to say you beat me with the free trailer, I still have none.

ya the axle has been re welded.. so im sure any factory bending has been messed up or is no longer there.. haha

haha alright ill have to post more often. im gonna paint it. got a hlpv gravity feed spray gun so im gonna use that. its gonna be a learning experience. then i gotta do some paint on my jeep. so im gonna go through the learning curve on the ski.. haha

put some new lights on my trailer and i had to fix the trailer lights on my jeep. (guy before me did a crappy install) and i added a new "flasher" blinker relay... all set and ready to go! ( hooked up to my jeep here) my pride and joy! im 16. so im learning how to pull a trailer.

Pulling is not a problem. Just remember to go little bit wider on turns, so you clear curb. It's backing where it's get interesting. Get some practice on empty parking lot to get filing for it before you go to local rump, so you wouldn't emberece yourself .

ya thats my plan. get some practice in so i dont embarrass my self at the launch ramp and become one of those guys that i laugh at. haha

what do you mean? it really wasnt too bad of a eal now that i look into it. it just needs alot of work. more work than the seller told me about...
