Alright so Daytona was a blast but my ski also got blasted. I would not recommend taking a 250 lb. flatwater boat and beating the living crap out of it in the surf. Besides hitting bottom with the nose and tail and over rotating a crap load of rolls, I was pretty amazed with how it held up. O ya and a bearing went on the top end (wrist pin) which kinda destroyed the motor as well. So all in all it was a great trip but a damn expensive one. Some pics of the carnage and I guess I'll be starting the Re-Resurrection pretty soon. :Banane01:

This damage occurred after about an hour of riding. :fing02:

The nose got repaired down there, thanks to FROSTY (you're the man btw). But then on Saturday I decided to hit bottom once more right before the motor let loose. Saturday was a great day cuz I did my first ever flareroll and was having a blast doing them. On the last one tho, I flat landed horribly hard and immediately I knew the motor had a problem. Atleast I have some pics of them.

I forgot!
looks like a wristpin clip came loose? been there before. now i know the gap goes up or down, not to the side. your ski looks like it got its ass kicked out there in just a few rides....lol. awesome!

well it turned out looking sick man.... and well the reason we build them is to break them... if you didnt break it you are not ridding it hard enough.... are you going to leave it pink?

Exactly what happened. It was ridden hard for about 5 full days, at least it still floats.

glad i could help... I think all that damage was just your boat rejecting the pink paint! :eek:mfg:

No, he loves being pink, I just think he wants some more carbon and some stickers all over it.

It's deff gonna stay pink, I'm either gonna sticker it up and lay some carbon over and paint that black, or just paint it with enamel next time. Guess I should of listened to my lil bro the first time and just went with enamel. Honestly, the pink has grown on me and I love the fact that it's sooo different, I'm the only a-hole with a pink ski.

Damn man, you killed your ski!

Doug

And I had a blast doing it, the only ********ty part was blowing the motor cuz it will cost a pretty penny to fix. The hull is easily fixed and relatively cheap, so I'm not too worried about that.

Holy crap, you broke your dildo! The hull damage could have been somewhat expected, but the engine carnage really sucks. Sorry man.

When you sticker it up you should get some from some adult novelty stores too. LOL!

My lil pink dildo is hurting, but the motor will just get a fresh bore and some new pistons. Hopefully the crank is good. Maybe I should see what Abe at Northgraphics can come up with sticker wise, probably something pretty cool.

or the jetski gods making him break his ski till he paints it a tasteful non barbie color.

maybe try lime green it might make ur ski work better :nana:

You know I hate the color green, no offense to kawi guys. My ski loves being pink, your just jealous of the attention it gets. Don't be a hater team street racer.

Glad you had a blast. Some of those rolls were awesome!!! Keep up the good work and let us know if we can help out. Send some of those picts to Frosty for the Xtreme damage page.

Well after a year of beating the living daylights out of barbie I think she had enough. I decided to make it a lot stronger with the reinforcement of some biaxial. The paint held up fairly well for how little I cared about it. My whole goal was/is to get it done by Christmas because I've got some other things to take care of before xmas.

I started working on it about two weekends ago and just started ripping off loose carbon. I redid the whole right side of the ski but did it in a couple hours. I honestly just wanted to strengthen it and repaint it for Daytona seeing how I don't think I will be riding this hull that much anymore. Well I'll let the pictures speak for themselves and show why it needed such a make over. Sorry for the picture quality just off my cell.

Thanks Pete. If you thought it was hard on flat water wait until you try it down in Daytona in some surf.
