My Predator hull, hood, & footholds came in right at 140# on a bathroom scale. A little more than I expected.

For real tho.. Thats SJ territory.. I can't believe krash, knowing you would post pics and keep us updated they still send out a hull that still need major work done that could have been done at the factory. Even though this is a replacement hull what does it matter? If I spend 7.5k on a hull why should I have to make the hood fit properly? They seriously need some kind of quality control.. This is just insane..
Sorry for the rant Austin, It just makes me sick seeing you go threw all this.. Can't wait till you get it done and we can shred texoma this season! Keep up the good work!

Welcome to the world of aftermarket jetskis! Custom parts have custom problems. It sucks, but thats the reality.

Ya, my last rocket was 114 hull, and I cracked the bottom out, hopefully those 4 extra pounds will help with strength lol.

As for fitment, that just how it goes with these hulls. I do agree, they need better quailty control, like Rickter. Rickters just bolt together, I just don't like how Rickters handle lol.

I am also stocked for this season! If lake doesn't flood again, it should be great one.

I guess it is when you deal with a company that shows zero pride in their product.. "yea just slap it together.. yea it the hood dont fit.. thats their problem.. its a custom part" BS.. That's a piss poor attitude to run your business off of.
It sucks that, that has become the industry standard..
Sorry @Ducky didn't mean to come off as a doucher

Yep... But there are still some companies whose hulls go together perfectly, and not just rickter . it shouldn't be an industry standard to require modification. My WDK hull, that was under 4k, bolted together with no shims and perfect alignment everywhere.
Having to trim the hood? That sucks.

Props to you for having the patience and contentment for this build @Yami-Rider. It's extremely impressive.

Now that my tank will sit further forwards then before, I can mount the battery in a more stock like fashion, so I had to mod my battery box again.

2016-02-15 16.22.08.jpg

A plate to keep the battery from sliding out and a tank strap hook

2016-02-15 16.22.21.jpg

Some more foam

2016-02-15 16.22.33.jpg

For the tank to sit where I wanted, I had to angle the waterbox more forward/upright, two layers of turf did the trick. Also turfed under the fuel tank.

2016-02-15 16.22.46.jpg

Pulling out my motor from my superjet, found a broken mount... I can't have nice things..lol
Good thing I keep a new set on the shelf.

2016-02-15 16.23.00.jpg

Had to take the grinder to the bedplates for weight reduction

2016-02-15 21.40.25.jpg

Lol...acturally the motor sat too high, but now I have perfect alignment with no shims
