That is precisely the issue! The thing blows out the discharge like you wouldn't believe but that air has to come from somewhere, in my case, all around the garage door which is outside air at 90+ degrees.

I may take this unit back and exchange it for a split unit yet. My hope is that the insulation helps enough that I don't need anything. I don't need it to be 70 deg in here but under 85 would be wonderful.

I decided to take a quick ride last night after work.Nothing like rolling into a rodeo and about 30 bass boats and the same amount of stone cold faces looking at me like l'm a target! Not a one of those boys were acting too friendly:D:D

One from my first job yesterday.l had to replace a factory Ford leather cover in a King Ranch.Should have been called a King Raunch! Some people are just disgusting! Dog hair,trash,food and all kinds of crap everywhere.l ended up vacuuming the area where l had to work and still was covered with hair.Clean em' up before ya bring them in for work folks!image.jpeg

Portable AC's are really useless in hot areas. They take the air your trying to cool and use it to cool themselves (inside), and like you mentioned they also create negative pressure in the room which sucks in all kind of crap. They end up making almost as much hot air as they cool. With your skills you could definitely install an inverter mini split yourself. I do all my own ac stuff, so hit me up if you have any questions.

Spent 4 hours today installing silt fence on my property so i can get my building permit. My idea was to use the mini skid steer bucket to hammer the stakes in since thats how we always did it with a full size bobcat. Well it just bounces when it hits the stakes so a guy i work with and i drove 500ft of silt fence stakes by hand into good ol east TN clay. Not fun.

How many of those cheap a$$ stakes did you bust in half in the process?

^ same happened to me a couple times. Someone was flagging my ad repeatedly and I think it was someone who had several for sale ads of the same item at a higher price. A few flags of their multiple/duplicate ads and mine, coincidently, was then left alone.

I don't understand how some people (usually businesses posting in the "by owner" sections) have like 50 of the same posting. I try to list something in NC as well as down in Charleston, use completely different wording, and CL immediately blocks my 2nd post for being a duplicate

11 out of 12 of my posting have been taken down.. Even in surrounding cities. Someone must really hate me lol
