the trivial complaints thread

Wife goes to the store. She gets back says she's got something for me to install tomorrow. I'm thinking cool car stereo, new DVD player etc. Nope curtains

Hahaha. That happened recently to me but it was 3 sets of blinds. For a house that we will be putting up for sale next month.

1. Wife got new license plates, both bolts broke off in the tailgate.
2. Can't find my tap set. Oh right I let someone borrow them.
3. Moving out of NYS in a month or two and having to pay to renew plates. So basically I'm going to have to pay for registration 4 times this year on 2 vehicles.

When you hand the plates back in they will give you a partial refund.

Was one way to purchase something off of craigslist. The seller agreed to hold it for 2 hrs. I was on my way, and hour and a half early, and the seller calls and says it just sold.. WTF. Why do people love wasting time...

I am so sick of living where there's no surf(Not often does lake michigan get decent surf, and it's hard to find time to get the ski out of the lake and then take an hour trip with only a couple hours notice!). I only have fun riding when there are vwakes or massive wakeboard wakes.. I need to move! Things are so much more fun 10+ feet up in the air.. Tempted to take a road trip.

We did this thing with the gas and electric company so our bill would be "averaged" throughout the year. Just so I could keep everything balanced and no surprises.

Our bill kept getting larger and larger over the past couple of years. I finally called and found out that one month the bill was paid $13 and some change short. That turned into a hidden "loan" which eventually turned into a nearly $1,300 hidden bill that was being tacked on every month.

That bull**** cannot be legal. They should have notified me before letting this **** go unnoticed for almost 3 years. Like, "hey you paid a tad bit short, give us a call". No letters, no emails, no phone calls.

****ing livid.

Thats rediculous. That is the kind of stuff that warrants removing the meter and helping yourself to some free electricity for a couple years.

I had this happen two years in a row when I lived in upstate NY. We had the "budget" plan, which was a monthly bill that was the same every month based on previous averages. For those two years, at the end of the year, we would get one big azz bill since those averages were low and we used more energy than we were paying for. I was freakin' pissed, but there was nothing I could do about it. I went back to the normal variable plan and will never go back.

We just guess at what the next months bill will be and pay an amount. They then either credit us or we owe a few bucks. Been doing it like thisfor 4 years since my wife pays all the bills at once whether they are in her hand or not. Also knew a guy who paid all his utilites in advance with his tax return money so he didnt have to worry about them, seems like a person who cant budget his money well enough to pay monthly if you ask me though.

I just pay as it comes in. My electric bill is usually about $100 per month. Just got my last two months bill in. Only $240 for two months and the AC's have been set at 75 the whole time.

My wife went to Italy for a few months for school and I was able to get our electric bill down to just under 9$ while she was gone. It quickly went back up into the 50's when she came back..

Just got back from vacation and my right hand person is out this week so I am pulling double duty. Freakin' buried in work (yes, I know "why are you on the internet"...well, I'm eating my lunch 3 hours late at my desk). Anyhow, one of the broads that works with me has stopped in my office 20 times today with "I know you're wicked busy, but I gotta tell you this funny thing my dog did (or her kid did, or her friend did, or what she cooked, or who she bumped into) last week. Thank God I don't have a concealed weapons permit, or I'd have been in jail by 10:00 AM.
