The nice thing about rip-curls shoes is there isnt much of a soul as all, just the 7mm under your foot and i must say its the swishest neoprene ive ever used, almost feels like gel...very cool

anybody ever try them?? i think they fit in a shoe or boot. im just looking for some ankle support since i sprained my right ankle bad in december.then broke my left ankle {fibula} in feb and have a cast on for a tottle of 8 weeks getting it off april 12 and want to start riding right away. trying to find more of a little ankle brace then a shoe.

I wore a lace up ankle brace under my shoes for months after a bad sprain. It's way better support than any shoe can provide.

i wear an old pair of puma running shoes that are 1 size small so i took the laces out and they fit great.

I just picked a pair of these up and so far are killer looking and work good as well. They match my Kawi so thats a plus. Got them off Amazon.com for $66.00 shipped to my door. Retail for $100.00 so not to bad of a deal.

Ditto on that, lil tough to get on when soaking wet. You have to unlace em more, tough when you're in a hurry to get back out.

Being that I stepped on something in beautiful lake lewisville and cute my foot.. i decided I need foot wear ;-)

I use Vibram fivefingers KSO. Currently looking to get Fivefingers Flow. Those shoes grip and grip and grip and will not trap water in your shoes. Love it

Update: AVOID THESE SHOES! Fell apart after 10 rides. I blame them mainly for twisting my knee due to their bulkiness. Looking for cheap wrestling shoes now..

im not here to put down anybodys preference but If you didnt hear about wavedaze 2.0 im the guy who broke his fibial and chipped cracked and dislocated my tibial both in the ankle, i have two screws also, wrestling shoes wouldve lessened or prevented my injuries, just think smart guys not calling anybody dumb either just though id throw my thoughts out there!
