Once i unzipped and pulled the top of my wetsuit down to just wear the bottom half.
(just let the arms dangle and did't tie them in front of me)
Went to start the ski in waist deep of water to load it into the trailer...
The arms off my wetsuit that were floating in the water next to the ski got sucked up threw the intake grate and wrapped themselves all around my drive shaft.. Tore them clear off at the seams on the torso part of the wetsuit.
I learned how to make race johns..
But also spent a good amount of time cuttinng 5 feet of neoprene off the drift shaft

Was riding in the surf one day, got back to the dock and could not get the ski to start, would not even turn over. Got home and decided I could back flush it through the pisser without running it so that I could get the saltwater out of it. After about 5 minutes of listening to gurgling sounds in the motor as all the air was replaced with water, pulled the hose and my plugs to find that water was all the way to the top. Had to turn the ski upside down and poor a ton of oil in the cylinders to keep everything from rusting to find out later that it was my start stop switch that had died. Could have just unplugged the black and white wires... Got the ski running a week later and still haven't had to rebuild the motor to this day.
