tell you what. i've got access to an engine dyno. who wants to put their money where their mouth is? wdk1200 vs dasa1200 vs xm1200 vs pfp 1.1L i'll have two of the motors on hand. i would love to see the results.

couldn't a crappier motor setup do that on better hull/pump combo?

really? have you built anything that could not be improved upon even by the smallest fraction? reaching someones/somethings potential is a funny thing that nearly never happens.

I'd say most people's good enough is not good enough, myself included.

nope, that's only because technology change. new ideas and different ways of thinking are out. i have built one car a few years ago that i don't think i could improve anything else on it to this day. i'm working on a new idea for the ski's. trying to see if there's anymore "potential" in different pump setups.
