Blaster thoughts . . . please on a 1100 blaster for surf riding

is a 4 inch outlet too big for the rear exhaust???????.......i found some 4" alum pipe here at the shop....since the hoses are 4".......i figured it would be ok....
that way i dont have to bother with a reducer for the smaller riva type.....

Looks good Phil, post some side profile pics, I would like to see how it rolls into the rocker!

I think you are going in the right direction!

im running this motor in the setback version,it will be way back , using a gp 760 midshaft.should keep the front end up high

Did extreme make you some mount plates that allow this? The plates he built originally don't allow the motor to be moved back.

heres some pics from last night in the cave....man this is some work.......

plates should be arriving tommorow......

im going with the 4" out the back straight.....gonna sound ridiculous

this 1100 has the electronics from a 1200gp already installed , but the guy left the donkey of a box empty on top of the flywheel cover...i cut it down yesterday so its just a cover now since the gp electronics are external like my blaster or sj....so i can mount it in the same spot as the stock ones....neat clean mod

The 63M 1100 intermediate shaft is the shortest and it can be machined down another 20mm making the coupler very close to touching the front seal if you need the engine set back even further.

I have a spare 1200 front cover you can have if you want it and the grommets for the wires, I did just the opposite today installed the 1200 pickups and stator into an 1100 front cover, I like the Donkey d!ck front cover makes for a clean install.

heck with that foam....3 hrs taking that shet out last night

do i have to cut down the waterbox?....looks a little long?

No need to modify the waterbox. Should fit fine. You just have to cut a decent size opening in the bulkhead to allow the coupler from the pipe to go through to the waterbox.

Yamabooeey posted his build here. http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=357802 I think it will be very similar to yours so it should be a good reference for you.

i cut the water box down 5 inches for the ease of installation , this way i can actualy tighten the clamps...its a tight fit....cut the tip off the old waterbox and heli-arced the tip on the exhuast tip pipe so the black rubber hose will fit like a stocker ....very easy mod
after every thing is fitted up after paint i will 2 part foam the pieces in , so they dont bounce around.

still waiting on the extreme bed plates and mounts............dave says they went to cali by accident...........im so disapointed......postal sucks people....send your products ups
