So this forum seemed to get away from the original topic of is the 1100 good for surf. I was considering putting one in mine next year or probably even later honestly. Seems pretty easy as far as bolt in e box and buying the mounting plate. Sounds like you need a different pump does it bolt right up. And most of all is it still good for surf even with the wieght. I thought I had read that it was more of a closed coarse ski with the heavier engine. Just interested in everything.

Can't go wrong with a pump gas triple in the surf.. IMO it's as much, if not a lil more fun, then the twin.
