Tickets on Daytona Trip

None!! Thank god! I ALWAYS get tickets, and for some reason after looking at my record, they always find some reason to search my vehicle. If you didn't know better, you'd think I was a criminal.You got out good Korn, $25 isn't too bad. I usually get the $200 range traffic tickets.

Got drunk at "Cruzins" in downtown daytona and parked truck on sidewalk.
Parking ticket: $10

Failed to pay it within the 10 days.
Parking ticket after 10 days: $32

I95 had a cop stationed every 10 miles all the way home to SC. I locked in the cruise at 70mph and cruised home under the radar.

I am really surprised we didn't get a ticket, we were cruising eighty on the way down when we could. But gas mileage sucked so we slowed down to 70 on the way back and got 17-19mpg towing two skis and at least 1000 lbs of gear in the 626. All hail the $600 car i bought five years and 75000miles ago.

However:

Our 90 per night room at the coral beach for three nights cost a total of $736.00:grumble:

We got a ticket for 426.00 for damages to the room. :newangel: And those charges are totally Boggess.

lesson learned. Be careful who you room with, or atleast put the room in their name or on their card next year.

we saw quite a few cops in Louisiana on both legs of the trip - but no tickets for our crew that I know of.

Was anybody else charged more for their room at the coral than quoted? I could have sworn it was $68/night for 5 nights but we paid $76 for the first night and $98 for the other 4. :dunno:

I love towing with a car instead of a truck. I don't have the cargo room, but I did average 22-23 at over 70mph.
