Ohh btw i do have a intake grate (well kinda) i took the pump end on my stock sxr intake grate and cut and grind to flow with the pump shoe

I'm guessing your better hookup comparison was not at fast speed while planed out? If the nose of the ski is in the air at low speed then the pump is submerged and the scoop isn't necessary at that point. Water already flows directly into pump at low speed

It is at fast speed with the toploader that thing feels like im on a js550 propoising like crazy without the toploader and with the speedchip(its what "they" call it) i can pin it without getting ejected lol

Looks good, spoke to tony mines just days from bring ready to ship. Just waiting on parts from machine shop

Cut the footholds up a little for a litle more straight entry into the holds. These skis are built like a brick shythouse. Then glassed and turfed. Need to figure out a pole length to cut the tubes. If all goes well it will be in the water soon.
