Probably for doing the poleski drag and pull yourself up so your elbows are on the gunnels. Us fixed steer guys think differently.

Yup , first ride on my bot was a little bit of a struggle trying to climb back ,so i cut my shock pad just enough not to hit the hood etc and turn the idle up

For everyone that has turfed a aquabot so far how many rolls of turf for the entire tray and side rails and misc things like chin pad and pole shock pad, I was thinking 3 rolls?? And can anyone give me a measurement of the tray so I can figure out how many rolls of thick and thin under layment to order? Thanks in advance I'm trying to get everything order so once my hull gets here its a wrench party...

1 roll of turf if your cheap like me and dont want left overs haha

And 2 rolls of thick underpad ,1 roll of thin underpad

So 2 rolls should cover it... I was thinking about ordering a 1in kick tail for behind my feet for the foot holds... Or molding the under layment to my own kick tail

Yes i would recommend some kind of kick plate and like a bump on the end of the tray for reentry ( trust me)

My tray is not inspiring because it dont have any kick plate nor heel lock (i thought i didnt need those ) thats why im telling you guys to put one on . ill be putting a kickplate and heel locks this winter

Do You recommend a kick plate all the way across the tray? I was just thinking a 2in kick tail only just behind the heels just to help me stay locked in, then molding the turf around it,


I primarily ride surf stance, I only ride in duck stance when doing arials hope this hull helps me break that
