I did 1 roll turf,1" underpad in tray. 18IMAG1092.jpg mm in footholds. First ride was last weekend. These things are so much fun. I need to figure out a waterleak under the tray.

should probably note that it is also a V1 kit........V2 addressed any issues we had on the V1.

Correct. It's a V1 purchased from as kit not directly from tigercraft. I used loc tite on pump and grate bolts. Should I have used other sealent? Also is it possible to get a short ride plate in black from tigercraft?

Actually have Todd reshaping the gunwales right now for better kick in.

i had tony build mine with an inch off the inside of both gunwhales for this exact reason. wanted to be closer to the tray or my old sj.

As for the water intrusion. you would be surprised where water comes in from. your inserts might not be leaking. ive seen it get in thru the screws used to hold the pump shoe in. make sure to put sealant on anything going into the tray.

Build went pretty smooth. Pump shoe went in without any surprises. Pumps two front feet sat flat and with a little shimming of the four pump shoe screws it was easy to center the driveshaft inbetween the three midshaft mounting bolt holes on the bulkhead in the engine bay. The measurement was 2 1/16th from driveshaft to edge of bolthole on all three. Once I figured out the shimms needed to hold it in that spot just pull it appart , glue it up and reinstal. I used a fast set SEM epoxy. Taped of the hull. Clean and easy instal. Then the aluminum pump ring makes reinstals a snap. Motor slid into place easily with no elongating of any holes. One thick yami motor washer under each front motor mount was all thats needed.

Every hole/mounting point in the hull needed to be tapped ,which is no big deal to me and took short time. I could have gotten every screw in the holes but the screws went in much better by first running a tap. Also I suggest to be carefull when bolting anything into the hull. These inserts maybe a little more shallow than stockers so you could bottom out the bolt before its truely tight and strip it out. A couple washers here and there and everything went into place and lined up perfectly. Only thing I had to elongate holes on was the intake grate.
