Tigercraft V3 Build

Okay friends. The ski has arrived, it arrived here at 2pm at work and I'm mentally already checked out. Hard not to be anything other than excited at this point because this was a once very young adult dream that is now within reach for my older, fatter self. That out of the way it took me 2 years to save for this hull and a Christmas bonus on top of it.

This will be my very first AM build. Just know I'm not made of money but I'm definitely in the mindset of buy once, cry once. If that means it takes another 2 years to build so be it.

The reasons I went with tigercraft is because of all of the amazing reviews iv seen and the durability of the V3 ski itself. The reason I went with the V3 is because it had seem to work well with most applications I wanted which was boat chasing and surf.

After much though and poking around my plan right now is to put a jm 781 in it, Powerfactor lay down pipe in it and a Solas 148 mag pump with a pro xscrean trim system. There is obviously a bunch of other parts that I need but these are the next big financial hurtal that I'll be facing. Iv got a few stock 701 engines that I'm trying to sell and a few odds and ends on kawi 550s and wave raider parts to help advance the purchase of the engine.

I will update everything as they come and take the time to document everything I can. For now I will enjoy my very VERY expensive garage ornament.

All help and suggestions as I will need it surely is greatly appreciated. Here she is!

Man beautiful ski there! I did the same thing a few years back and sold my worn out Super Jet and saved for a few years and bought my first aftermarket hull brand new. What saved me the most money in the build is I was able to purchase another nice round nose that had all the good parts and nice motor already done. Then I stripped it and used everything on the new hull sold the round nose hull and got back half what I paid for it whole.
