TL flywheel missing parts?

Can anyone help identify this flywheel and confirm if I'm missing parts. The flywheel came with my PSI Genesis 1155 parts pile. So I think it's originally intended for a srx. I thought it was an msd flywheel, but it looks like the msd flywheels have msd stamped into them. What is killing me is it does not seem to have any magnets to trigger the pickups. There's what appear to be timing Mark's on the front. Did someone make a TL flywheel where the magnet bolted on the front, hung through the window and was adjustable for timing?

@yamabro does the adjuster bolt on using the 3 bolts that would normally be used to pull the flywheel and then put the magnet in through the slotted hole? I have the dual pickup stator plate that is non-adjustable mounted in the motor. I was guessing that I must have been missing some type of adjuster plate that held the magnet. I am just a little confused how it would bolt on and not throw off the balance of the flywheel when you moved the adjustment. The back of the flywheel is 0.060 from the face of the pickups so there`s not room for the magnet to go on the back side of the flywheel, it must hang through the slot in the flywheel. I was hoping to find pics so that I know what I am looking to buy.

Yes it does. Honestly finding that piece and actually purchasing it may be an issue. I think you will be at the mercy of someone that has and or is even willing to sell. I hope you do get it though. Good luck

Thank you for the info. After searching around the internet I found another pic of it in the MSD 2007 catalog. It was posted in the DIY TL or MSD TL thread. So now that I know it is a MSD flywheel I`m going to try contacting them. I have a plan to make the mount, but if I can avoid killing a bunch of time on the mill I would prefer it.

It is a polaris based PSI Genesis 1155cc motor. They seem to be very rare, I have found maybe 4 or 5 forum posts about people running them in jet skis, but no one who is active on the forums any more. I bought everything as a parts pile. I actually bought it for the swoopy sided superfreak hull that it came with. Chance out of amarillo Tx was the original owner, but I picked it up off of one of his friends after he passed away so I don`t have much info on it. My plan was to toss a stock 701 in the hull to match up with my other swoopy sided freak. Once I found out that the snowmobile version of this motor was rated somewhere around 225hp I figured I should at least try it.....plus I found out that the mount pads in the hull are not located in the standard superjet positions it kinda sealed the deal.

The carbon bed plate came with it. I`m not sure who made it, but when I was asking Tem if he remembered anything about the hull and mentioned that he believed the hull was modified to hold a EME motor with a composite mount plate. So I`m guessing it might have been sold by EME as they are well known for using polaris based powerplants.

No reply from MSD so far. Looks like I will be firing up the lathe, mill, and testing out if a motorcycle wheel balancer will balance a flywheel tomorrow.

Well it makes spark now

Great job! When all else fails,... build what you need.
I’ve got a Polaris triple full raced out with Billet head, triple pipes, total loss, big billet carbs, etc.
