Today was a good day - the counter to trivial complaints

Today I'm replacing the water impeller on my boat, we've had it for 4 years and I'm finally getting around the changing it. Expecting the worse as we bought the boat used, and having no idea if the previous owner ever changed the impeller as the boat now only has 205 hours, I expected to have to use Thors hammer to smash the lower unit off.
It came off like butter. Makes the rest of the boat chores today a walk in the park!

We were on the water by 9am, rode 2 - 45 minutes sessions is small choppy surf and am already back home with the skis and gear washed up surfing the X from my zero gravity recliner. Looking forward to a relaxing dinner and a movie with my wife now.

What a great way to unwind from a long and tiresome week. The next time I take vacation, I'm not spending it out in the garage for 14hrs day.

Completed my 6th season as my daughters soccer coach. We've won the local championship 3 years, finished second once and had 2 off years where we were mid-pack. It's a joy to watch ur kid have success at something they work at...also a drag to realize these times don't last but can only make the best of what time we get.

My buddy has been looking for an fx-1 for over a year now. Last night one popped up and we gave the guy a call 16 minutes after it was posted. The pics looked nice but they did NOT do the ski justice. We showed up today to pick it up and were in awe at the condition. The guy who owned it was the original owner (proved it with original paper work and manual and all records), the ski had all the goodies (AM head, pipe, prop, intake grate, ride plate, new turf), and the best part of it was that it looked like it just came off of the showroom floor! On top of all of that he threw in all of the stock parts that were replaced with AM ones and added a wet suit and life jacket. At 2500 for a brand new ski (pretty much) with all the mods you'd want we felt like my buddy robbed this guy blind. He had over 20 calls since he posted it lol.

The Blue Angels will be here this week. Guest listed for the air show and catered VIP hangar all weekend.

the food is always great but I'm going for the aircraft. I'm usually the only one at the venue that doesn't wear earplugs.

I get goosebumps just thinking about it. Nothing gets my marbles rolling faster than loud military aircraft. .

Had a great weekend at the lake house this weekend. My roommate and I decided to build a Giant Jenga set and have some people over. I never would have thought we could have so much fun by only spending $25 bucks on some 2x4s. Highly recommend building this for anyone who loves outdoor games that can include an unlimited number of people.

All you need is (8) 2x4x8. Cut pieces at 10.5 inches, and cut 72 of them.

Its also fun to get drunk and write random stuff on the pieces for when people pull them out.

Even if I got a 70% id consider that killing it... It was sooooo much easier than I expected it to be but you can never be sure what you actually got on it. I find out tomorrow!

I don't think I will ever own a minivan. Either a 4 door car, suv, or a lightly lifted truck. I don't care if it means I gotta pickup a kid a little higher to get em in a seat. You'll never see me driving a minivan... Lol

finished my ski after a week of running around just in time friday at midnight. Rode saturday and sunday tuning and enjoying being on the water again. Few tweaks to do, and itll be perfect for the season! Cant wait to ride this week or next weekend and really dial it in.

Once you go minivan, you never go back.

(Well, at least until the kids are older)

If we have another one I will probably end up getting one.

I used to say the same thing, until a friend of mine got one and it is the most comfortable car I have ever been in.
