We have an amazing team with tons of support so we can move mountains if we need.

The subs have been amazing as well. Getting a brand new MCC designed, built and delivered in under two weeks was a tall order but Rockwell delivered 3 days early.

We replaced the entire controls system so so that group had to engineer the system from the ground up, build the PLC backplane and provide complete drawings in the short time frame as well.

The mechanical and electrical teams worked around the clock for the first two weeks with no drawings or schematics and had to get things as close or as flexible as they could and then be ready to adapt as plans finalized.

Zero first aids, no accidents or injuries and only one hard hat got thrown through the entire job.

I've worked on many fire rebuilds over the years but nothing to this extent. It's been one of the most impressive emergency projects I have ever had the privilege to work on and it only further solidifies how glad I am that I took the leap and accepted a position with this team.

Me too. Walked outside the other day and saw that the guy who bought my house (who also works next door to me) had a square nose on a trailer behind his truck. Made me so sad that my skis are gone. I went over took off the hood and its already got a 701 in it,went in to talk to him about it he had no clue it was already swapped. I started rambling about b pipes enhancers mag pumps and hooker props, he asked what all that would cost, and all I could think is how dumb it was for me to sell my stuff instead of just working some extra shifts to fund my house build. Oh well live and learn and get your buddies hooked so you can use their stuff!

I had to sell mine to start a business and keep up with the house I already have. That was almost a couple years ago. Things are looking up now. I may built or buy another one day. I still have my custom hull just nothing else. If I could find a cheap donor couch to strip I could be on the water fairly cheap, but there far and few around here. Most think there clapped out 440 is worth 2g and anything with a seat brings about the same.

So last year when we started building our house, my wife quit her job of 10 years to open her own hair salon. She had signed a non compete when she was 19 and was terrified of it and it was always held over her head while she was with her former employer. So of course we were sued, had to pay him a few thousand plus lawyer fees etc. All in we were like 6k for the whole lawsuit which sucked but she was so happy to have her own place it didnt matter. Yesterday a friend of ours sent us a clip from the paper where they show penalties, judgements etc against businesses and her old employer had a ton of noncompliance issues and got hit for over 6k in fines from state board. Nothing better than seeing someone take your money only to lose it to the man !

I'm supposed to be working from home this week so I half azzed it online for a few hours and then UPS arrived...

I got my new Reolink PTZ camera and something I had actually forgotten that I even ordered. It was a power tailgate lock from Pop and Lock for my 2003 Ram so it locks the tailgate with the keyless entry.

So, I blew off work, got my camera and my tailgate lock installed and finished up just as a thunderstorm rolled in!

Gonna be a good day Tater!

I'm have no regrets leaving the auto engineering side of things i worked 15 years for. I am just a cable guy now and couldn't be happier to me this means a lot more then a paycheck. We are expecting our first in June after lots of hardship life seems to have taken a good turn for me.
