Today was a good day - the counter to trivial complaints

I'm have no regrets leaving the auto engineering side of things i worked 15 years for. I am just a cable guy now and couldn't be happier to me this means a lot more then a paycheck. We are expecting our first in June after lots of hardship life seems to have taken a good turn for me.

We have a voice of the caller that gets sent to everyone I visit from corporate everyone one of my customers has sent my sup a email and given me max rating. This job is great you just have to know how to talk to people and not be a a$$ lol

I’m right there with ya.

I have been looking to do some serious house cleaning myself.

I didn’t realize how many tools I had amassed just to keep my old trucks running but now that I have warranty again, I’m thinking I could really use the space back...

Same here. I need a new truck at least something with a back seat std cab gmc isn't gonna cut it for much longer. I have too many trucks, tools and boats. I'm looking to simplify my life.
Aside from a full machine shop, cnc mini mill and engraver and 3D printer. I have 5 trucks, 4 boats and 2 skis.

I'm going to build a sharps replica first
de2c0768bef5df93ec9333b262a3fabf.jpeg

Probably a few muzzle loaders and a few falling block ruger no1's before I get rid of my my tooling. And would love to build a matched pair or colt peace makers
Did someone say Muzzleloaders ?

I will never forget the time my uncle let me shoot his sharps he held it while I fell on my ass! I was expecting a muzzle loader target load like kick boyhowdy was I wrong.

So after losing my job Thursday and getting all my tools and boxes home a massive purging occured and I threw away 2 trash bags of junk and parts I will never use. I have this beautiful new house a nice office area to study in and I find myself dragging my books and rum drinks out to the garage to stand in front of my box and study/ take notes. I guess I find comfort in the box I have worked in front of for 15 years.
