Tool Guys, revoke my man card...

I have mostly snap on screwdrivers I bought a repo set years ago when my craftsmans had finally all disappeared. Hardened tips and decent grippy handles. Matco has some drivers with this nice felt looking inserts in the handles that are great.super grippy and oil/fuel is no problem on them. I only have two of those style and they are both torx drive but work great and are comfortable to use. Price of both of these sets are more than I would spend for home use, but those are what fill my screwdriver drawer. Allcthe cheap drivers or ones I find are what get ground into "specialty tools"

I really like a screw driver that just takes 1/4" bits and buy the has every size milwalkee kit. I have been pretty happy with all my milwalkee bits and then the driver is just whatever you find comfortable.

My favorite screwdriver was a 1/4" bit by husky but it's discontinued. Tips weren't quite as hardened as the milwalkee though.

This matched with a driver that fits your hand nice is what I prefer.

If changing bits is a hassle for daily mechanicing, you can buy a bunch of drivers the shape you like for your hand I guess.

+1 for snap on... Ya the are $149 thats why I have 4... Never strip out screws and when they wear at all give them back to the guy. When it's your career I'm willing to pay. I also like klein tools, great for around the house.
