Iv'e been to homo depot and lowes and can't find any alum or stainless tubing that is 5/8" o.d. and 1/2" i.d. anywhere in stores. SOOOOO what are u guys using for your trim tubes?????????????????????????????????????????????????

I used a ½” PVC and on the inside of the engine bay I put a ½” female coupling and on the end of the coupling I installed a seal tight cord grip McMaster #69915K54. Easy to pull the cable out if needed.

U guys are the shiznit!!! I thought about the copper idea cuz it would fall in the 'dimensions' that Brian says perfectly, just wasn't sure if there was some dumb reason NOT to use copper. And then of course, I really thought PVC would be the way to go. Thats what I used for my new duckbill setup.

Chik-do you know what PVC stands for?????????????????????????????????????

Hey Gil, why the duckbill, they do not remove water fast?
Cuz scupper suck azz! Thats my story for this week and I am sticking with it!
I'm sure I will change my mind next week and put 1 in. LOL I did place my tube for duckbill in location where w/I change my mind I can make the hole alot bigger and not F anything up.

ps-I got my ski staying fairly dry w/the Diablo hood kit and my 'special' hood seal. I can stab and sub and fountain for 10 min straight and bilge will only spit water for a few seconds. I just ran the duck bill for those 'O-CHIT' moments w/the bilge switch decides to short out and not come on.

Go to Lowes and look in the sink supplies section. There is a chrome plated copper SUPPLY LINE that is perfect for this. I have the long drill bit you need if they didnt send you one let me know.
