Just a update. Some progress on the upper, Half is roughed out in tooling mud. Now I need to template and match other side. I need to finish out upper and mold, then liner. I'm making more time to push on the sj. The upper is there to play of the hood lines for upper mold. The lower I need to wait on the new hull, which I have when the time comes. Just need to finish hood and small parts and then upper. So here are some rough shots from the begging of plugging. 40 grit with black enamel to show some lines. I'll I can say is it is started and will be finished after a lot of long days and long weeks. I will go fast to finish so the next project gets started, it is a project I've been wanting to do for 2+ years. Remember these are rough shots, just want to show something in motion. Tell me what you think.

For am hood kits there will be a nose piece. In the end the upper deck will be one piece, molded nose.

Its pretty low. The handle pole bracket needs to go down 5/8" to 3/4" to make the hood and pole flow right. The pole is a - 4". Big K that is Jonnys old race ski.

The back of the hood is extended a bit to allow more air in. There is enough room between the hood and liner for air in.

Bobby knows his stuff, I'm thinking his products will stand the test of time but I won't make that claim yet. I guess we could say his hood is the best on the market even though it's not finished yet, that's what other companies in this business do :dunno:

After Garrett’s build off ski I said he was never allowed to spend that much money on a ski again……but I would let him buy anything from Bobby…..he is a stand up guy and he knows his sh*t :biggthumpup:
