Excellent response watty! Makes perfect sense... Hmm. Went for my last ride of the year today. So at this point, its open for large scale modification. D cutting the ride plate sounds like an idear, I might get rid of the tubbies honestly, I don't like em, if you rode my ski you would probibly kick it when you done lol.
It has a chime walk when its WFO that's a serious problem haha. Yeh, I think I'll just big bore, pipe, port it, get a girdled head, new mag pump and hooker impeller and a msd enhancer, then call it a day with this project.

I never had a problem flatwater rolling my pig heavy RN with tubbies on it. You need to ride more and quit thinking parts are going to make you better.

I used to ride every weekend my good sir, you don't know me, so don't assume anything.

How to fix the problem:

Option A:

1. Rip the pieces of poop off.
2. Buy a set of quality parts that are not made by a pansy in his crack shop
3. Install new ones correctly.
4. Light your poopty attitude on fire.

Option B:

1. Light the ski on fire along with your poopty attitude.

Option C: (being as the tubbies arnt the problem)

1. Learn to ride.
2. Light your poopty attitude on fire.

Hey kwak I've been riding three different square over the last three years and I can tell you I could flip and roll them with 650 motors in it.

It comes down to tray time and skill. But you seem to have all the skill already so I'm not quite sure why you are always asking for advice here.

Ok? When did I CLAIM that I could roll a stock 650sn? Never, nor did I ever claim to be excellent at riding? I'm pretty good, and I used to barrel roll this ski off boat wakes. OH MAN, YOURE SUCH A BADASS BECAUSE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING ON AMY SKI AT ANY TIME!!!!! :)

These tubbies are trash, you have no idea what you're talking about because you aren't the one riding this ski with these junk tubbies on it. Case closed

I think you could build a better ski from scratch but that budget is going to be pretty close. I built my 07 freeride SJ from a bare hull about 4 years ago and I went $13k out of pocket. Mine has a lowered hood, trim, ported 760 and a Mag pump too.

Because buying from Blowsion, the pros, I want a guaranteed turn - key ski. I'd rather spend the money, I'm a good all around builder, but things aren't always perfect, but most of the time builds turn out great, but now that I'm making the money I'd rather buy that ski and have a certain level of security.

When you leave it all to the experts, you'd better get a perfect ski. Especially for $14,500

Even though for the same price, I could have a good am hull setup and a good engine and drive line setup, I want a fast and reliable all around ski, I don't have the money to buy both an aftermarket and a racing ski separate, so the Sj built by the pros seems like the best route. If I were to build it, the turf would be ok, as I suck with turf, and it would take me a while to tune and my parents hate driving me back and forth to the lake, and should anything go wrong on the water I need to be towed in. A lot if thus stuff happens even with the people who have been building skis for as long as they can remember. I'd rather just pay it, and have a awesome summer.

Dude if you're going to spend 14,500 on a Superjet I have a rickter for less. 11,500 with 701, ADA head, msd ignition, b pipe.

Or you can go wild and buy it with an 850 dasa and mag pump for 18,500

I actually agree with you Kwak, everything is brand new, not pieced together on top of a used hull and drivetrain. You might be paying a few thousand more than if you did it yourself but you're also getting the Blowsion experience at building skis and that could very well be worth every penny. You have the means to do your own porting for free and swap out the pump so you are golden.

A ski like that should be good to go for at least a couple seasons with worry free maintenance other than fixing what you break.
