Just like any other digital toy, played with it for a couple days and then slid it into a drawer.

I had a list of things I wanted to scan and pretty much worked through them all in the first week.

I never regret owning any tools but this is one that may be better to rent or borrow if you just have a couple items to scan.

I have one and it's pretty cool. But I rarely use it. Good to find cold air seeping into the apt from windows and doors. It's just a neato g-wiz type of thing. If anybody wants one, I'm cool to sell mine. Basically brand new. Can include an iphone 5 with a brand new battery too.

I tried to fix the power button on the dedicated iPhone 5 I bought for this and ended up making a mess that will never go back together. That's the main factor behind me not using mine as often right now.

I have a lifeproof case on my main iPhone so taking the cover on and off is a bit of a hassle. It was easier to just buy a second phone cheap.

I just sold mine because I updated to an iPhone 6. They make an adapter but I am going to wait for a C2 dedicated camera.

My patience and diligence paid off again. I snagged a brand new, still in the box FLIR C3 today for $350.

Already have it registered for the two year extended warranty.
