The ski in the back is a 1978 440 i've had since 1988.
The next one is a 1982 550 that my friend got new and the ski we learned to ride on as kids.

we painted the scallops on these and built hot motors for them 20 some years ago when we were in highschool.

The pink ski is a 1977 440 i rebuilt with my 15 year old girl for her to ride. it has a built 440 motor with mild porting.

The green one is a 1988 550 i got about a month ago to put together for racing. It was painted like a race machine but bone stock. we gutted it and put all the good stuff in it. it now has one of my built 550 motors with a 46mm, MSD and BIG time porting.

That's pretty sweet, yeah I got by 650 when I graduated highschool. Learned to ride on it, had a blast. (I'm not that big, 140lbs and about 5'9") So I wanted a 550 or 440, so I got the purple 89 550 from the original owner and just never rode it anymore (was pushing 50 and all his kids didn't want it). Then the day I picked it up, my dads friend was over and was "oh, I didn't know you were have into the stand up, I thought it was just a thing. You should have told me i have one in my garage thats been just sitting there for 10+ years" So I was all, well lets go get it then. And he was the original of the 440 too. And my daughter loves playing with the 440, its just her speed and well color.

Thanks, and yeah it's pretty clean. Plus the been sitting in the garage for years, funny thing is they have been pay the registration on it all this time. So it has current tags, and still had the pink for it.

Well to say the least i am the original owner of this 87 JS550 Paint was done in 97 by Rob's Paint Works, Baldwin Park,Ca. , Milled head, Solas impellar ( dont remember what the pitch was to damn long ago), PJS rideplate and Westcoast intake grate.

I found your site from basically being out the the scene for almost 9 yrs and so was the ski. It's basically been on the side of the house and sitting, never to be used again.. But, recently hit the water the past 2 weekends and missed riding alot so here i am.. Been browsing this site and am impressed what has been happening in freestyle and freeride since i can last recall.. And alot has happened.. to say the least.

82 550- PJS Viper 7000 motor, PJS exhaust manifold, Westcoast exhaust, Dual Keihen 38's, PJS f/a, Mariner waterbox, Jettrim front hull braces(more coming soon), Goki motor mounts, Aluminum 440 driveshaft, Afterburner pump w/ 16* solas, Westcoast open intake grate, Ocean Pro finned rideplate, Ac Aluminum handlepole, 650 Quick steer plate, 4* bars, Dual 500gph rule bilge pumps w/ blowsion bar switch, Westcoast bulkhead brace, trigger throttle, Pole spring, Converted to right side exhaust, Dual cooling, OCJS extended fuel tank, Westcoast stainless steel fuel pickups, Primer, Hydroturf w/ Lifter Wedges.

And here's the update on my 550/650. Some of you might have seen the pole I snapped, so I had to put on a new one. I also converted the electronics to the 550 because the 650 starter relay finally went out(not in pics). I also had some fiberglass damage on the bottom I had to repair.

here is an 83' 550 and and 86' X2. my friend got both of them new and still has them.

this is from 87' and the trip to the lake when i found my 40. took me another month to scape up the 500 bucks to buy it.

First ski is the old 440 i got for free!

Here is my 550 I have been riding alot. This ski has ocjs pipe and manifold, mariner head 180psi both cylinders, Bn 44 with velocidy stack, skat prop, toploader, ocean pro ride plate, quick steer, 7* bars, new turf.

I have an 85 550 Full PJS exhaust, square body carb, Tau Ceti carbon fiber flame arrestor, BCW Racing intake manifold, Mariner cylinder head, Mariner water box, PJS finger throttle, Dickinson ride plate, straight bars, quick steer, bilge pump, primer kit, Bear Claw, Jet Trim, PJS gas cap cover, new stator, 440 pump, new throttle cable, new cdi, new battery, not even 2 hrs on rebuilt motor.
