Here is the ski that I'll ride first every time I ride. I have been riding 440's and 550's since the early 80's but I have gained a few pounds since then and needed more HP.

CarterB posted the pictures of it i pmed him asking the same question he said there from a custom motorcycle swing arm builder and he has a couple left im sure if you pm him he can tell you more

These are my two skis. The green one is an '84 440 hull with a 550 motor. The only motor mod so far is exhaust. In the process of rebuilding the 44 carb and having the head milled. The tiger ski was an '85 550 but that's where i got the motor. It now has a stock 440.

just picked this up today. Owner said the entire ebox was trash so I got it cheap. New(well new to the ski, actually came off an old hull I had) start stop and she fired right up. Rips pretty good, a :):):):) load of top end power, hard to judge since its the only running 550 I have lol. Its hard for me to ride after riding a SN most of the time.
From what I know so far, its a 92 550sx. PJS Head, Exhaust, waterbox, dual Kehin carbs, dual cooling, 500gph bilge with handle bar switch, scoop intake grate and some aftermarket ride plate.

First ski is a 86js300 all stock other than a finger throttle and a ride plate, sold it this summer.

(red)JS550 picked it up and the (white)js300, the 300 runs with a finger throttle and a kerker pipe, the 550 has some decent goodies but the pump is locked up (hopefully getting a new wear ring and getting it ready soon) got the two skis for 275 dollars off of CL this past week!

^ That is awesome! What technique did you use to make the stripes?

Just ripped up masking tape. Some of them I used 1 1/2" tape and ripped both sides. Some are thinner 3/4" tape with one side ripped, then you put the two straight sides together and leave the ripped side on the edge. Its not to hard, just VERY time consuming.lol
