I thought I would share this as it works so well.

Grab one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Buzzys-Polli...ryZ22691QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Im in Aussie so Im sure you can find one closer.

Replace the guage with a 0 to 30 or 0 to 60 liquid filled guage. the thread is 1/8npt.

put a 1/4" hose on the end.

Because its a long stroke, small bore setup, you can creep the pressure up and get consistant accurate results.

The mikuni ones seriously suck balls compared to this, and are dearer.

winterstick, they are quite common. we got ours from Dawson on this site.

I noticed that my swimming pool filter has a nice liquid filled gauge, should have stolen it.

google "liquid filled guage", you will find them.

Note, the gauges are "glycerin filled" not water. Any plumbing supply warehouse should have them. An auto store that deals with hydrolic lines would have them also, but mostly for higher pressure.

Mcmaster would be my first choice if i didnt have them locally.
