Just when you thought the superfreak was perfected, Tem pulls another rabbit out of his hat. I got a chance to try his new creation a few days ago and I can say he is really doing some innovative things to push the sport even higher. I will call it the Ultimate Superfreak Badass. This hull looks like a mini version of my -4.3. It is shorter in overall length and height with all the same great looks of the original badass. The proto type hull for testing was a bit heavy but it feels like a 40 lb hull due to its physical size. I am not 100% sure but I think it will be available in the near future in various lengths as his hulls were in the past.
The ride and handling of the hull is like no other I have tried. Stability is still not a problem even though the hull is ~10" shorter overall than the -5 original. The test ski was powered buy a Dasa 1200, full spec, tl, race gas, and a huge 155 mag pump. This combo works phenomenal in the tiny hull. Flips from idle, no problem, multiple flips no problem, as I was able to perform tricks I never had the ability to do before. Turning and carving the ski at speeds was amazing as well. The straight line tracking of the hull was even stable at higher speeds. Also doing flat 360's was awesome, as the tiny hull spins so fast it seems as you catch your own thrust form the nozzle. Please keep in mind this hull is super small and directed towards the guys that want to really push their abilities. I wanted to say thanks to Tem & Nancy for the hard work and road trip for me to have the opportunity to try the Ultimate Bad Ass.
