I know a dude that is a hood trick master that could help him out. :wiggle:

i thought the hood tricks would allow him to peel the rest of the paint!
i'll give blowsion my c/c# right?

wow complaining about the paint when he took the sticker off.. man he is soft..

his problem now..

i vote for the go pound sand... 2x over.

I wouldnt do anything unless hes a friend. If it were a friend id help pay to have the hood repainted. Then again im not sure what it costs to get a hood repainted. If you could get it matched back up under $100 i would offer to chip in a little. And thats if you want to be nice.

No way would I buy it back. He's the one that jacked up the paint since he pulled the stickers off.

Peeling off stickers typically doesn't look good. Paint either gets messed up or the rest of the hood is faded and the color doesn't match.

tell him its his problem now, he got it for a fair price

its not like the crank blew the first day he started it. its not a big deal WOW the paint is pealing, stock hoods always peal theres notihng you can do about it

Dont tell him "Its his problem now". answers like that onlly makes the situation worse.

ask him why he removed the stickers. If he used any adhessiver remover to help remover the stickers and tell him if he wants to sell the ski that you know of three people that might be willing to buy it from him.

i tried removing decals with the magic wheel once and the paint still came off.
i offered to buy it back and pay for his shipping but he declined.
as of now 2 guys are ready to jump on it.
he's a cool guy but i don't think i can be responsible for other's actions however.
i told him about known issues with sj's such as paint, mounts, midshafts and others and the boat is 9 years old now so!

start with: (pick one or combine for greater effect)
what in sam-hell,
whadujusay,
wtf,
eat sheeot,
holy sheeot,
u gotta b sheetn' me,
ur fulla' sheet,
bull sheet,
beat it,
skidaddle,
kick rocks,
pound sand,
scram,
get lost,
take off...ehh.

and end with:
"go sell crazy somewhere else, we're all full here."

Or, just stare silently at him until he gets uncomfortable and leaves.

He bought the ski and assumed ownership.

He then attempted to modify the ski's aesthetics and botched the stock paint and wants you to help cover the expenses?

Sounds like a bad case of amateur hour; he didn't take it to a paint shop to have the stickers removed, he did it himself.

It's like the guy getting mad at JSU for his blown engine after he tore it down and added a new head and pipe himself. Anyone remember that thread?
