the repair looks good all the way up to the 5th picture. what benefits does that fuzzy thing in the hood liner give you? I hope that didnt cost you extra
send it to me and I will take care of it. Anybody that has any issues with the WCF hood please send it to me and it will be fixed or replaced at no cost, that's my policy to all customers.
there is a wcf hood and nose peice here that is loaded with stress cracks.
ill try and get pics.
Stress cracks are often the result of too thick of a layer gelcoat. The characteristics of gelcoat does not allow it to flex much , especially when it is layed up thick. In the past, I used to use a dump gun to spray the gelcoat into the mold thus always resulting a thick layer of gel. Since then, I use a spray type gun that gives off a much more consistent layer of gel through out the part.
there is no perfect hood out there. The important thing is that you take care of the customer and stand behind your product.
It's just the way I do business.
Only hood I have ever had that did not show any real signs of abuse was my Blowsion JK hood. Grifnasty has it now.
